What is Medicinal Cannabis?
Medicinal cannabis refers to prescription-based cannabis-derived medications used to help manage a variety of medical conditions. It is strictly regulated and prescribed only when conventional treatments have been ineffective.
Who Can Benefit from Medicinal Cannabis?
Medicinal cannabis may be considered for patients with: ✔ Chronic pain conditions (e.g., arthritis, nerve pain, fibromyalgia)
Cancer-related symptoms (e.g., nausea from chemotherapy, pain management)
✔ Epilepsy and Seizure Disorders
✔ Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Spasticity
✔ Anxiety, PTSD, and Mental Health Conditions
✔ Palliative care needs
Each patient is assessed individually to determine suitability based on their medical history and symptoms.
Consultation & Prescription Process
Initial Assessment: Patients will undergo a thorough consultation with our Authorised Prescriber to assess eligibility.
TGA Approval & Prescription: If deemed appropriate, our doctor will complete the necessary Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) application.
Follow-up & Monitoring: Ongoing reviews are required to ensure effectiveness and adjust the treatment plan as needed.

A valid referral is not required, but patients must provide relevant medical history.
